After a young Memphis Grizzlies fan had her prized basketball stolen, Ja Morant, the Grizzlies star, stepped in to offer support.

Ellie Hughes, an 11-year-old Grizzlies fan, had her basketball, which she had collected signatures from players on for the past six years, stolen while trying to get Morant's autograph at a game.

Upon hearing of Hughes' story on social media, Morant reached out to her family, invited her to a rematch game, and gifted her with his game-worn jersey and a pair of Ja 1 Nike shoes, which have not yet been released to the public.
