Kyrie Irving's Trade Request Shakes Up Brooklyn Nets and NBA World

On Friday, the NBA was rocked when Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn Nets guard, requested a trade due to a standstill in contract talks.

This news came as a shock to many, including teammate Kevin Durant, who was reportedly surprised by the situation.

The sudden departure of Irving raises questions about Durant's future with the Nets, as it's difficult to imagine the veteran forward staying if Irving leaves.

Despite Durant being injured, the Nets are still third in the East with a 31-20 record, largely due to Irving's outstanding performance.

The trade deadline is just six days away and it remains to be seen what will happen with both Irving and Durant.

Teams are reportedly more interested in seeing if Durant will also ask for a trade, as he is known for his scoring abilities and low drama.

US Court Orders Mayweather To Pay Nigerian Firm $2.4 Million For Contract Breach

Photo: Floyd Mayweather Jr. (Instagram) A U.S. court has ruled that former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. must pay $2.4 million to Zinni Media Concept Limited, a Nigerian company.  The case involves a contract breach from 2017 when Mayweather agreed to make appearances in Africa, including Nigeria.  However, he canceled the deal and did not return the money paid in advance.
