According to recent reports, LeBron James is growing frustrated with his teammate Anthony Davis due to his inconsistent performance and frequent injuries.

During a recent game where James broke the all-time scoring record, Davis remained seated and failed to congratulate him, indicating his discontent.

In addition, he recently deleted his Instagram account following a loss to Portland on February 13.

As a result of Davis's unreliability, James has been forced to play extensive minutes at the age of 38 to carry the team, which has led to frustration from both James and his camp.

Fox Sports commentator Colin Cowherd also claims that James and his team are upset with the coaching staff for not keeping enough pressure on Davis to perform consistently.

Although the Dallas Mavericks have reportedly expressed interest in acquiring Davis to play alongside Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, there are whispers that the Lakers are also considering signing Irving in the summer to play with James and Davis.

However, if Davis fails to prove his reliability, the Lakers may not pursue this option.

Despite Davis's impressive season averages of 25.9 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists, injuries and inconsistent performances have plagued his time with the Lakers, and he has failed to score 20 points in three of his last four games, with five turnovers in his most recent game against the Bucks.

His contract with the Lakers ends in 2025, with an earlier termination option in 2024.
