Jamahal Hill, the current UFC light heavyweight champion, is welcoming middleweight champion Alex Pereira to his weight class.

Pereira, who is known for his big weight cuts, has expressed interest in potentially moving up to 205 pounds in the future.

Hill, who is confident in his abilities, believes he would make easy work of "Poatan" if they were to face off in the octagon.

During an interview with Inside Fighting, Hill expressed his eagerness to take on any and all challengers.

He stated, "Just put a dish on the plate so I could eat. (It would be a) dominant victory for me - dominant. I'm going to dominate him."

Hill won the vacant light heavyweight title with a lopsided victory over Glover Teixeira at UFC 283 in January.

While Hill is currently waiting for his first challenger, Pereira will be facing Israel Adesanya in a rematch at UFC 287 on Saturday.

Jiri Prochazka, who vacated the light heavyweight title due to a shoulder injury, is expected to be next in line for a shot at the belt.

Hill is eager to face Prochazka and is doing what he can to make the fight happen. He stated, "I'm hearing he should be back sooner than normal - hopefully.

We'll see. I'm just waiting to see." Hill has a record of 12-1 in MMA and a 6-1 record in the UFC. He believes he has what it takes to dominate the light heavyweight division and is willing to face any opponent who steps up to the challenge.
