Jordan Poole Addresses Draymond Green's Punch Incident And Looks Forward To Fresh Start With The Washington Wizards

Jordan Poole, the former guard for the Golden State Warriors, has finally addressed the lingering question about Draymond Green's punch.

Poole, who was recently traded to the Washington Wizards, has faced speculation that the preseason incident with Green influenced the Warriors' decision to separate the two players.

However, Poole has typically sidestepped inquiries regarding the incident, and his response to the impact of Green's punch was no different.

Poole chose to completely evade the question, demonstrating a reaction that would be expected from anyone in his position. Unwilling to engage in further discussion on the matter, he opted for a generic response expressing his enthusiasm to play for the Wizards.

While many individuals within the Warriors organization, including Green himself, have openly acknowledged the detrimental effects of the punch on the team last season, the extent of its influence on Poole's departure remains uncertain.

Nevertheless, it seems plausible that the organization believed it was time to part ways with both players. Although the decision to trade Poole for Chris Paul had basketball-related factors, it is widely believed that the preseason incident played a significant role in the transaction.

Poole now has the opportunity to start anew with the Wizards, presenting him with a promising chance to revitalize his career. After experiencing a setback in his role and overall performance last season, Poole will have the chance to become a key contributor for the Washington team in the upcoming season.
