Inoue is filled with high expectations and determination as he prepares to showcase his abilities against Stephen Fulton, a fighter he holds in high regard for his skills and intangibles.

Setting his sights on a fourth weight division, the unbeaten former three-division titlist engaged in negotiations with Fulton's team, resulting in a highly anticipated showdown scheduled to headline an ESPN+ telecast in the U.S.

The pre-fight press conference saw Inoue express his motivation and readiness for this significant bout, stating his eagerness to demonstrate the kind of performance he is capable of delivering.

Bookmakers have favored Inoue at -400, even though Fulton, as the natural 122-pound fighter and defending champion, holds a size advantage.

Fulton has earned his place as the elite of the junior featherweight division, having faced ten unbeaten opponents in just 22 pro fights, including a victory over Brandon Figueroa in a WBC/WBO title unification bout.

In contrast, Inoue has faced only one undefeated opponent before challenging Fulton, which ended in an impressive victory during his bantamweight title win against Emmanuel Rodriguez.

Inoue's journey to the undisputed crown involved defeating formidable opponents, and he aims to become Japan's first-ever two-division unified titlist and the third boxer from his nation to achieve success in four or more weight divisions.

Despite his confidence, Inoue acknowledges Fulton's skillfulness and composure in the ring, aware that Fulton may present a different level of challenge compared to his previous opponents.

However, with his determination and belief in his abilities, Inoue is poised to deliver a compelling performance in his quest for victory.
