Derrick Rose Makes NBA History In Suns-Grizzlies Matchup

In a face-off between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Phoenix Suns on Friday evening, Derrick Rose showcased his prowess, making a mark in NBA history. 

Despite the Grizzlies falling short with a 110-89 score, Rose had a standout performance, contributing 17 points, two rebounds, one assist, and one steal in just 22 minutes of play.

Notably, Rose ascended on the NBA's all-time scoring list during the game, surpassing Caron Butler with a career total of 12,430 points.

Now ranked 252nd, Rose sets his sights on overtaking Joe Barry Carroll, currently at 12,455 points.

In his 15th NBA season and first with the Grizzlies, Rose maintains a solid performance, averaging 9.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. 


His shooting accuracy stands at an impressive 45.3% from the field and 57.1% from beyond the arc.

The Grizzlies, currently at a 3-12 record, find themselves in the 14th seed in the Western Conference. 


Amid a three-game losing streak, they gear up for their next challenge against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday evening at home.
