In a remarkable comeback, 19-year-old Bronny James, son of NBA icon LeBron James, took to the collegiate basketball court less than five months after a harrowing cardiac arrest during practice.

The University of Southern California's game against Long Beach State marked his return, with LeBron James proudly watching courtside.

Despite USC's 84-79 overtime loss, Bronny's 16-minute performance showcased resilience, contributing four points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block.

Cleared for basketball activities in November, he rejoined training with his USC teammates, demonstrating his determination to pursue his passion.

Bronny's decision to play for USC in May faced a setback when a July workout led to a collapse, resulting in a three-day hospitalization.

In August, his family disclosed a congenital heart defect diagnosis and subsequent treatment. The Galen Center in Los Angeles witnessed an emotional moment as Bronny entered the game to a standing ovation.

Despite missing his first shot, a crowd-stirring chase-down block mirrored his father's signature moves. A second-half three-pointer earned him applause, including a proud reaction from LeBron James.

LeBron expressed his joy, stating, "It's a big milestone for our family," emphasizing the significance of Bronny's return.

Fellow NBA stars, such as Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant, celebrated the moment on social media, welcoming Bronny back to the game he loves.

Bronny's comeback transcends basketball, symbolizing resilience, family support, and a triumphant return to pursuing dreams despite adversity.
