Brooklyn Nets' newest addition, Dennis Schroder, is optimistic about the team's playoff chances.

Despite their 21-33 record, Schroder, who showcased his skills in a 15-point, 12-assist double-double in his debut, believes the Nets have the talent to secure a postseason spot.

In an interview with Brian Lewis of the New York Post, Schroder expressed his commitment to the playoff goal, urging teammates and the organization to share the same mindset.

The Nets currently sit 11th in the Eastern Conference, just 2.5 games behind the tenth-seeded Atlanta Hawks.

Coach Jacque Vaughn, while committed to starting Ben Simmons, acknowledges Schroder's playmaking abilities, making him a vital asset.

With a deeper rotation, including options like Dennis Smith Jr., the Nets aim to be a formidable force, blending playmaking and defensive prowess.

Despite challenges, the Nets boast potential go-to players like Cameron Thomas and Mikal Bridges. With a healthy roster and motivation after a pre-All-Star break defeat, the Nets are poised to compete strongly in the second half of the season.
