In a 15-minute news conference ahead of Sunday's NBA All-Star Game, Lakers legend LeBron James addressed rumors about joining the Golden State Warriors and revealed his hope to end his illustrious career with the Lakers.

"I am a Laker, and I've been very happy being a Laker the last six years, and hopefully it stays that way," said James.

While not providing a definitive timeline for his retirement, the 39-year-old acknowledged uncertainty about the future, holding a $51.4 million player option for the next season.

James expressed a 50-50 stance on a farewell tour, revealing hesitations about accepting praise in a rare moment of vulnerability.

Despite recent ankle issues, James is determined to strengthen his health for the remaining season games.

The Lakers, currently in ninth place in the Western Conference, aim for a strong finish.

James also confirmed his commitment to the Olympic team, planning a fourth appearance in the upcoming Olympics, emphasizing his dedication to representing Team USA. (SOURCE: Yahoo Sports)
