Former trainer Manny Robles, the architect behind Andy Ruiz Jr.'s historic victory over Anthony Joshua, is calling for Ruiz to reenter the heavyweight boxing scene in Saudi Arabia.

Robles highlights Ruiz's prolonged absence from the ring since his loss to Joshua in December 2019, attributing it to celebratory distractions and personal struggles, including mental health issues and marital separation.

Despite parting ways with Ruiz after the Joshua rematch, Robles believes Ruiz should seize the opportunity to compete in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the potential for lucrative matchups and career resurgence in the heavyweight division.

Acknowledging his lack of recent contact with Ruiz, Robles underscores the importance of seizing opportunities in a competitive landscape featuring top heavyweight champions like Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.

Robles contends that a single defeat should not define Ruiz's career, urging him to capitalize on the chance to reclaim his status among the elite heavyweight contenders.
