Hollywood star Terry Crews is set to make his boxing debut against UFC icon Anderson Silva on June 15 in Brazil.

Known for his roles in "Brooklyn 99" and "White Chicks," Crews has a famous physique but limited fighting experience.

Earlier this week, Silva hinted at a final fight in his native Brazil through a teaser video for an event called Spaten Fight Night. The video suggested a special farewell for the martial arts legend.

Shortly after, Crews confirmed he would be Silva's opponent in a video post, saying, "June 15, let’s go, Anderson Silva; me, you, let’s make it happen."

Silva responded simply, "See you June 15."

The event is promoted as Silva's last fight after a storied career. Silva, once the top UFC fighter, moved to boxing later in his career, achieving notable victories. His last boxing match was against Jake Paul in October 2022.

Though this matchup with Crews has generated buzz, it seems to be a publicity stunt to draw attention to Silva’s actual next fight against Chael Sonnen.
