According to a report by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Tim McMahon, Ja Morant, the star player for the Memphis Grizzlies, has entered a counseling program in Florida after a string of concerning incidents.

Although he has been away from the team for the past ten days, there is still no news about when he might return.

It is not clear what kind of counseling Morant has entered or how long he will be there.

This season, Morant has been involved in several troubling incidents, the most notable of which was when he went live on Instagram and flashed what appeared to be a gun at a Colorado nightclub just hours after the team played the Denver Nuggets earlier this month.

Morant has not played since, and the NBA is currently investigating the incident, although the Colorado police did not press charges.

The Washington Post recently published a report alleging that Morant assaulted a teenager and threatened him with a gun during a pickup game at his house last summer.

Additionally, Morant reportedly threatened the head of security at a Memphis mall in a separate incident.

Earlier this season, Morant's entourage allegedly threatened Indiana Pacers staff members after a contentious game in Memphis.

Morant has apologized for his incident at the Colorado nightclub, and the team announced that he would step away for at least two games, which was then extended to four additional games.

The timeline for his return remains unclear, as Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins has not provided any specifics on what steps Morant needs to take before he can come back to the team.

Jenkins had previously stated that Morant would miss the team's next four games, leaving open the possibility of a return on Friday.

However, he did not offer any update during Monday night's game against the Dallas Mavericks.
