In anticipation of Tuesday's face-off between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers in Texas, all eyes are on Luka Doncic, who finds himself on the injury report.

The Mavericks, currently boasting a 14-8 record and holding the third seed in the Western Conference, could be without their star player for this crucial matchup.

Doncic, with an impressive season performance of 32.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, has been a driving force behind the Mavs' success.

His shooting prowess at 48.5% from the field and 38.8% from three-point range has been instrumental in their recent three-game winning streak.

In their latest victory against the Memphis Grizzlies (120-113), Doncic delivered a stellar performance with 35 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two steals, and two blocks.

However, concerns loom as he grapples with an undisclosed injury ahead of the Lakers clash. The Mavericks, currently thriving at home with a 6-4 record, look to extend their winning streak but face uncertainty without Doncic.

Following the Lakers matchup, they are set to host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. On the other side, the Lakers, standing at 14-9 and holding the sixth seed, enter the game on a positive note with a three-game winning streak, crowned by their recent triumph in the In-Season Tournament against the Indiana Pacers.

Their next challenge awaits in a Wednesday clash against the San Antonio Spurs after facing the Mavericks. The outcome of Doncic's injury will undoubtedly influence the dynamics of this high-stakes encounter.
