The Utah Jazz wrapped up a challenging season, falling short of their goals to secure a spot in the play-in game. Amidst trade deadline surprises and uncertainty, the team's veteran player, Jordan Clarkson, shared his thoughts in a recent press conference.

"We had high expectations of trying to make the play-in game and winning games this year. We didn't accomplish what we wanted, so it's a letdown for us," Clarkson expressed, reflecting the disappointment felt within the team.

Despite the unexpected turns this season, Clarkson maintained a positive outlook. He acknowledged the team's effort to compete and win games but recognized they fell short of their goals.

Looking ahead, questions arise about Clarkson's future with the Jazz. With two more seasons under his contract, rumors suggest the team might consider trading him. However, trading Clarkson may not be straightforward due to his hefty contract, age, and recent injury history.

Clarkson missed the last ten games of the season, leading to speculation about his absence. Whether due to injury or giving rookies more playing time, his role remains uncertain.

Addressing his future, Clarkson remains grounded. "Tomorrow is tomorrow. I'm here. I love this organization, this state, the city. If it is the last [season], then that's just what it is," he stated.

As the offseason unfolds, Clarkson's situation will undoubtedly be a focal point for the Jazz and their fans.
