Ryan Garcia’s B-Sample Results Delayed

Today, Ryan Garcia’s B-sample was opened in front of his representative, but the results won't be revealed right away.

It may take a few days for the outcome to be known, partly because of the Memorial Day weekend.

Garcia had tested positive for the banned substance ostarine in tests conducted by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) on April 19 and April 20, just before his fight with Devin Haney.

In response to the positive test, Haney has asked the New York State Athletic Commission to reverse the fight's decision. Garcia firmly denies any wrongdoing.

While sometimes results are available sooner, the holiday weekend could cause a delay in this case.
